Tourism-Zero YNU Project Launch Event

On March 8, 2025, Yunnan University hosted the official launch of the Tourism-Zero project, part of the EU-funded initiative to promote zero-waste management in the hospitality and tourism sectors. Held in Kunming, the event brought together 63 participants, including academics, industry professionals, and students, to explore sustainable tourism practices. Featuring keynote speeches, thematic reports, and panel discussions, the event showcased international collaboration and set the stage for curriculum development that aligns with environmental and industry needs across China, Thailand, and Laos.
