Tourism-Zero Kick-Off Meeting 20-21/01/25 in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

The Tourism-Zero consortium held its first international face to face meeting on 20-21 January 2025 hosted by the project coordinator, Chiang Mai University in Thailand.

Representatives from all project partners met for two days to discuss the initiation of the project activities and agree on the upcoming steps related to the project implementation.

More specifically they discussed the organization of the official launch events and the realization of the needs assessment activities in the three participating Asian countries: Thailand, Laos and China.

The meeting also involved relevant tourism stakeholders from the local and national level who were informed about the project objectives and who provided valuable insights on the local context.
