The Erasmus+ project “Tourism-Zero: Curriculum Development for Zero Waste Management in the Hospitality and Tourism Sector” was featured during the International Week (25–29 May 2026) hosted by the International Hellenic University (IHU), Greece, bringing together representatives from nearly 20 countries.

On 28 May, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fu Jing from Chengdu University (CDU) delivered a presentation on building regional resilience through transnational academic partnerships. The presentation highlighted how the Tourism-Zero project promotes sustainable tourism education, industry engagement, and international collaboration beyond traditional academic exchange.

Through activities such as curriculum co-development, industry consultation, research, and learning resource development, Tourism-Zero is helping strengthen sustainability competencies and support the transition toward more environmentally responsible tourism and hospitality sectors across Asia and Europe.

The event provided an excellent opportunity to share project achievements, exchange experiences, and explore future international cooperation for sustainable tourism development.

Tourism-Zero continues to demonstrate the power of international collaboration in advancing sustainability and innovation in tourism education.
