Tourism-Zero at Thai–Chinese Cooperation Seminar in Thailand
On 2–3 February 2026, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fu Jing and the Tourism-Zero project team from Chengdu University visited Nakhon Si Thammarat, a vibrant cultural and economic hub in Southern Thailand. Dr. Fu and the team were invited to present at the seminar on “Thai–Chinese Cooperation Project on the Management of Cultural Capital,” where Tourism-Zero was showcased as a case study of cross-national collaboration under the Erasmus+ CBHE framework. The presentation highlights Tourism-Zero’s innovative approach to sustainable tourism and co-development of courses on zero-waste tourism and capacity building in higher education.
The event brought together nearly 50 participants from public and private sectors across Southern Thailand, providing a valuable platform for knowledge exchange, dialogue, and the strengthening of Thai–Chinese academic and industry cooperation.
