Thrilled to share that Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fu Jing and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zhang Yinling from Chengdu University recently represented the Tourism-Zero Project at the University Alliance of the Silk Road (UASR)-Tourism Sub-Alliance Meeting, held during the 3rd One Belt One Road One Tourism (OBOROT) Conference in Tashkent, Uzbekistan (June 24-27, 2025), this was a fantastic opportunity for collaboration.

The Meeting was jointly hosted by The Hong Kong Polytechnic University(Hong Kong) and Central Asian University(Uzbekistan), the session brought together delegates from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University(Kazakhstan), Chengdu University(China), Mae Fah Luang University (Thailand), and Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage(Uzbekistan). Participants shared experiences, exchanged insights, explored collaborative ideas, and advanced plans for future partnerships. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fu Jing highlighted the Tourism-Zero Project’s objectives, and our four innovative courses designed to nurture the future tourism workforce. These collaborations are essential for advancing global tourism education and partnerships
